Toddler
Toddlers are full of energy and curiosity as they explore their world. Our toddler program supports and nurtures their rapid growth and development in a safe, engaging environment. We offer care for toddlers aged 15 months to 2 years and 9 months at our Donald Street, 374 Rockdale, Church Street, and Sassaquin centers.

Our Approach to Toddler Care
Our toddler program is designed to match the way toddlers naturally learn—through active exploration, hands-on experiences, and nurturing guidance at every stage.
Encouraging Early Steps
For our youngest toddlers just learning to walk, we have special rooms designed with their safety in mind. These rooms are separate from the more active older toddlers, giving them the space to explore at their own pace. Our skilled chefs also prepare delicious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks right at each center — learn more on our nutrition page.
Learning Through Play
To guide young toddlers who are still learning to share, we provide two of each toy. Our toys are chosen to boost logical thinking, hand-eye coordination, and curiosity. We also include mirrors in the classrooms to encourage toddlers to explore and enjoy their own reflections and sense of self.
Developing Motor Skills
We support toddlers in building their strength, coordination, and motor skills through engaging activities. Our rooms have soft corners, balance beams, and climbing structures that encourage them to move, balance, and climb safely.
Language & Reading
We read to toddlers individually and in small groups at least twice a day. This fosters a love for books and builds a strong foundation in language. We have a range of engaging and child-friendly books designed to encourage early literacy.
Promoting Self-Sufficiency
Our classrooms have furniture that is just the right size for toddlers, so they can sit comfortably with their feet on the floor and wash their hands on their own. This setup promotes self-sufficiency and helps toddlers feel more in control.
Imaginative & Dramatic Play
Our dramatic play area brings a touch of home to our school setting. With toys and food representing the different cultures of our families, toddlers can use their imaginations, caring for their own babies and cooking in our little chefs' center.
Potty Training
Our gentle, encouraging approach to potty training helps your child reach this significant milestone. We provide consistent routines, positive reinforcement, and personalized guidance to make potty training successful.
